The German Jordanian University
The German Jordanian university project employed 150 evacuated CPC (Compound Parabolic Concentrator) solar collectors with a thermal capacity of 1200 kW. The project was designed for domestic hot water heating and solar cooling by the aid of GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation). There have been 4 tanks with a total storage capacity of 14000 liters and an absorption chiller for solar cooling. Upon completion of this project, the German Jordanian university was able to cover 72% of its running cost.
