Millennium Energy Industries have always been involved in projects involving the hospitality sector such as Petra guest house solar thermal project. This project was funded by GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) where 114 Compound Parabolic Concentrating (CPC) Solar Energy Collectors have been installed with a total thermal capacity of 900 kW. The purpose of this project was to aid the boiler in the winter for space heating (pre-heat) and it also included an absorption chiller for the summer. The solar fraction of this project was 70%.
